No More Brown and Grey, Please!

You would think I would be happy about a warm and early spring, but the reality is that with only a skiff (or two?) of snow since mid-January, my colour-loving soul has had to endure an awful lot of brown and grey.  To remedy that, last weekend, I prepared some more tulip photos from the Skagit Valley to sate my colour starvation.

The leaves are now out on most trees and the dandelions are brightening the boulevards, but the grass is lagging behind as it struggles with low moisture levels in the soil.  The brown insists on lingering…

If this isn’t enough of a colour boost for you, I previously blogged about the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival toeing-through-my-tulip-memories/”>here.  Today’s images were made in 2011.
